LATE MANDARIN CIACULLI
The late mandarin of Ciaculli owes its name to the village of Palermo, Ciaculli, where it is grown, but also the vesting period, more late than that of the "Avana" mandarin grown in the area. The variety Avana is collected from December to January, while the late mandarin Ciaculli mature from February to April, when the production of other mandarins has been completed.
The late mandarin of Ciaculli is juicy, has a high sugar content, the thin skin of dark orange color, with few seeds, it is also a fruit that does not require special treatment resistant, so in the majority of cases it is completely organic.
The Consortium packs it in wooden crates and smaller cardboard boxes marked by a common logo.
