The Nature Reserve of the Forest Ficuzza is a natural protected area of Sicily. The Reserve covers an area of about 7.398 hectares across Monreale, Godrano, Mezzojuso, Corleone and Marineo.

The reserve is rich in rivers, which form several ponds called “gorghi”. On the north-eastern border is Lake Scanzano. The Reserve houses many trees species and the 80% of animal species, including birds and wildlife.

There are several suggested routes within the reserve, all passable on horseback or mountain bike.
